Business Controller

TINE International is a division within TINE SA focusing on international expansion. The division works on developing new revenue and profit streams for TINE as well as increasing the utilization of Norwegian milk abroad.

To support our goals, we are searching for a curious and proactive Business Controller for our central team in Oslo. This newly created position requires a mix of professional qualifications, strong business acumen, communication skills, flexibility, and a willingness to take on tasks as needed. For the right candidate, this role offers excellent development opportunities and exposure to the global dairy market.

The position reports to the CFO of TINE International and is part of the TINE International Finance Leadership Team. Due to exposure to the international business, the position will require strong collaboration with finance teams located outside of Norway. A small amount of travel should be expected.
The workplace is our headquarters located at Kalbakken in Oslo.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare targeted financial analyses and decision-making support, and identify business improvement opportunities based on the analysis
• Develop and implement financial tools to support business, with a focus on customer and product profitability, ensuring the tools are understood and used by the business
• Play a central role in the month-end closing and planning process
• Drive continuous improvement in Finance and Business
• Be a member of the TINE International Finance Leadership Team and a sparring partner to the TINE International CFO

Qualifications:

• Relevant education at a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Competence in key financial processes, including planning, management reporting, results delivery, gap closing, and activity-based costing
• Good understanding of accounting principles and rules
• Good written and oral communication skills in English
